I was looking to Hackintosh an older Dell desktop I had squirreled away and in the process of gathering all the hardware every piece of documentation I found insisted that it topped out at 4GB. This was a late-era Core 2 so that seemed co

Most companies (and most individuals, I'd say) want to do what's necessary to not be bothered. It's doubtful these organizations have any great fear of EU regulatory bodies, but if showing a warning (that the user can subsequ

My job would never cotton to putting stuff on Github, so GitLab existing and being of such high quality has been fantastic. Really been impressed with it.

My shop relies on an Ant script for our builds. We still manage our dependencies by hand and package everything ourselves, but we've got a system that works. We're (slowly) working on doing an upgrade to all our infrastructure, so

Don't be ashamed: for a pretty long time Seagates really were very reliable, the 7200.9 and 10 series were a staple in my systems throughout the last couple years. Seagates also used to have a 5 year warranty period. I'm actuall
