&& is a syntax element whereas ~~ is 2. Further you're using a side effect of ~ to get rounding. It isn't being used for its intended purpose. I get your point and to some extent agree with it. It's more in the class

Simply replacing compute with computation wouldn't have read right though so you'd still be making a snarky comment. "Computation capabilities" is better and is the same length. "Computational capabilities" is

To be consistent, surely the cleaning lady is perfectly within her rights to access your unlocked pc. Download all your files and sell them to the highest bidder. Just to make a point.

I believe it's a sarcastic comment to make the point that just because something should be secure, doesn't mean you can go in a fiddle with it. Ianal but I don't think it's a valid defense to walk in to a bank, find an u

I kind of disagree. If you design something well, it can be beautiful and functional and doesn't have to cost more. But then I quite like big standard pylons, so each to their own.

So you sarcastically suggest that we can't decide on a reasonable amount of ads. I supply a counter example, where a nation has collectively decided on a reasonable amount of ads. And now you're handwaving that away? Your two comm

Well in the UK there are limits to how many ads you can put on broadcast TV. So if we can let broadcast TV know, why not YouTube?

I think it's more a case of enshitification. The first LEDs I got were metal bodied. One of them has gone in the past 10 years. So they must be around that lower bound by now. Tbf I don't think subsequent ones have been too bad. R

Why not? In the case of bulbs you could get a better form factor, but no one's doing that, they're just using non replaceable bulbs. Batteries. Are you going to get rid of your TV just so you can use a different battery chemistry?

I don't think it's that complicated. If I release software under the gpl and to someone to integrate in a closed source application. You don't have gpl code in a closed source application. You have code with 2 licenses. This

Yes. I release software X under license that turns to Y license after z years. I am free to take exactly the same code and do the same at a later date. Or are you referring to code by a second submitter where their code goes gpl, but then

No. If I write software I can release it how I want. I can release it as gpl. If someone approaches me wanting a closed source version I can do that. If I submit a patch to the Linux kernel I can also give that patch to Microsoft to put in

What's the ownership / management structure? If the point is for it to be used as a hacker space, and it isn't being used as such, are they interested in focusing it on that?

It isn't partisan. I could write a long essay about the issues with trump, and none of it relies on specific policies or the party he belongs to. At root, he just doesn't have democratic instincts. I'd put him far too close t
