Thanks -- good recommendation. Tomato looks good. I didn't know the Apple AirPort was a "standard" wireless router. Cool. Now bidding on one... :-) http://www.trademe.co.nz/Browse/Listing.aspx?id=226933642

Yeah, fair call -- if I knew the router would be 100% reliable with the built-in software, great. I'll look into the WRT-150N. However, I'm looking into OpenWrt/etc because I've had such a bad run with the build-in firmware on previous rout

Me too, but I don't think it's just a preference. I come from a C/C++ background (I'd say the majority of people do, or C# or Java), and Python looks much more familiar and obvious to me than Ruby. For example, this from Wikipedia: (3

That's not quite true -- Adam Dunkels' protothreads make very good use of Duff's Device. They enable you to write event-driven code in a more or less thread-style way. That said, Mr Duff is kind of hidden inside the protothread macros -- on

That's helpful -- a helpful explanation, I mean, as well as a potentially helpful tool. It'd be great if you could say more stuff like this on your home page. I tend not to sign up without a lot more information.

Yeah, a bit the same here in New Zealand (20 days/year is standard). But I think that would be quite generous by U.S. standards.

Yeah, that'd probably be a one-liner JavaScript. Something like: onclick="getElementById('pwd').type='text';" But you'd want a bit more to toggle it. Still, maybe a slightly better way -- and a way to address the security issue at th

Yes. And to me it seemed odd that 3/4 of the examples of LESS actually require MORE typing than the CSS. So perhaps not the best name, but looks like a nice tool. Or maybe LESS should be an acronym: Less Equals Simpler Styles :-)
