It's going to be tough for Origin, their code hosting platform, to follow in the footsteps of GitHub, if they can't be treated as a neutral party.

This reminds me of a provocative YouTube video title I read the other day, one that makes me want to fight factory farming injustices. The title is "Animals to me are "Philosophical Zombies" - Destiny" https://

AI is making it a low-moat industry too. It's a lot quicker to build some API docs, a behavior tracking JavaScript library, and some fraud detection, with LLMs.

FWIW I saw the original posts, knew who wrote them, and know that Cloudflare OS is open source. It's because Sandstorm is about running anyone's apps, while where you introduce it you say this: > the AI cannot introduce a signi

It isn't the only wrong thing they're calling it. They're also calling it a successor to sandstorm.io, which it clearly is not.

Seems to be mixing up linting with code review - though this does lint only the changes which is an option (I prefer to lint the whole codebase though)

They talk so much about freshness. That is an indirect and unnecessary and probably unintentional dig at dry beans, grains, seeds, nuts, etc. While I can entertain the idea that they're more reasonable in their diets this makes them ba

To Michael Pollan it seems they aren't worth mentioning right in the first breath when talking about real food, but perhaps an afterthought. "Shop the peripheries" causes them to be lumped in with potato chips and oreos and o

Eh, the "real food" of Jamie Oliver and Michael Pollan ( shop the peripheries ) and such isn't very health promoting. So I'll pass and keep eating a mix of fresh food and cheap food that keeps for a long time like legume

I seem to remember TamperMonkey being on there but not ViolentMonkey, which I didn't agree with. However, I see neither of them on there. Both are available but not recommended. I wonder what is going on with that.

If it were intended to be a direct alternative for the biggest use case, I think it would be more like Cloudflare Workers and Durable Objects. However, I think it's an alternative for a lot of uses of those two things. For a lot of use

Ah, that changes the amount of work and the reward in the equation for attempting to self-host Cloudflare OS. And I knew that I could run WebAssembly manually inside of JavaScript, but it seems to be runnable directly too. What would help m

There is also qm with smol machines. I found this out the long way, by looking at the contributors to qm at https://github.com/yc-software/qm where I found BinSquare, the founder of smol machines. Then I found a tweet

To say that you're building agents, is based on a way of viewing things that isn't at all pervasive. Some might say you're building a customer support chatbot. To talk of building agents as a common activity makes sense if yo

I disagree. "Benefit society" means something that can't be defined or tracked so easily. And consumer behavior is heavily biased by things that aren't optimized to benefit society. I have in mind this book, Hooked by Ni

I don't think it matters if it's silly. I think it's highly successful, and that the success is continued. CryptoPunks is a clear example of genuine use of NFTs that still is an elite thing today, but another example is neede

I think the brand Clawd belongs to OpenClaw now. It didn't start there but it landed there, until Anthropic tried to kill the fun. Anthropic hardly uses that name, it's mostly an anonymous mascot. https://www.google.com

The request would need to be done from their service, so as not to expose the API key, and because it just makes sense. They could probably directly proxy it and Wireshark couldn't catch it, due to everything being HTTPS. But people co
