I'm assuming this uses some sort of bone conduction to allow you to hear alexa without having to have earbuds, but still keeping it quiet to others. I wonder how well it's implemented.

Medium is seriously the most aggressive offender of this. Popups, Google account snooping. It's really ugly. I seriously don't know why anyone uses Medium anymore. There are plenty of better, less creepy solutions to sharing text.

Yea looks like they've changed it to output HTML fallback now. Presumably for browsers which don't respect the redirect status code. This document must predate that change.
