the bigger question is: what business does the Netherlands have all the way across the ocean in an island? Who gave them the "right" to own it?

why did this simple idea take so long to become available? I remember even in llama 2 days I was doing this stuff, and that model didn't even function call.

Imagine having a vehicle with +680 hp (or 1000 hp in case of Rivian quad) and then drive it autonomously... sigh where's the fun in that?

Fair point. I think they wanted to sound super futuristic (they often borrow a page from Apple's book) but they forgot they're not Apple.

Nah, it's ugly and doesn't exude "professionalism" at all. For that you'd need a serif font, or at least a proper sans serif like Helvetica or SF Pro.

Why is Microsoft supposed to listen? I'm not happy with them either but I understand their shift in business strategy. So many people here treat github like it's a utility; it's not. If you're not happy with it, move on

say MCP is a dead-end without saying it's dead. I really like Claude models, but I abhor the management at Anthropic. Kinda like Apple. They never open sourced any models, not even once.

Wouldn't recommend. When I wanted to move from Google Photos to iCloud, there was no way to simply get all my photos. I had to use a JS script that would keep scrolling the page and download photos one by one. Lesson learnt.

But what's the performance of NixOS compared to other distros? Also, I imagine CUDA installation is not as simple as changing a few lines of config file?

Lots of research shows post-training dumbs down the models but no one listens because people are too lazy to learn proper prompt programming and would rather have a model already understand the concept of a conversation.
