You're in a great place as Founder / CEO / Developer of you're product to react to customers. Especially since your marketing to other developers. Over time you may see your support landscape change. 10x (or even 2x, rea

For sure. It's going to take time. I'm more excited about the short term where we can actually use them as development accessories. For me, that'd be enough.

It's all part of progress. Your MBA wasn't around too long ago. I have big hopes for touch-enabled development on tablets. I see a world where we can use conventional dev tools with tablets that augment the experience. I would love to just

Right on. To get code shipped I usually copy and paste if it really saves me time, but make a checklist of optimizations I can do at a later date. When that time comes, find/replace does the dirty work.

Exactly. If they end up making the whole process frictionless, I feel QR codes will come out alright. That, and a bit of education on what they are / do. As he states in the article, even in SF most consumers are in the dark.

The video is nice. You do that in-house? I'd be nice if there was a short description / value prop. statement above the fold. While your name implies what you provide, it's not 100% apparent what you are going to help me with and why it's b

I'd say use it to get your initial version out. Focus on usability now. Keep in mind that it doesn't support a wide variety of browsers (namely, IE falters).

A fitting tribute indeed. In fact, I'd pay to have something like this for some of my family members once they pass. Sure, everyone wouldn't have 60+ pages, but having a coffee table tribute mag that tells their life story with beautiful pi

Agree. Although they do make it super simple, so it wouldn't hurt to get some background knowledge on the whole process. We're taking the leap and using Stripe for our recurring billing system, even though we have a merchant account. I just

Sometimes I find myself doing this in a small way right after I deploy a new product version or feature. My mind is open enough to take in some of the decisions that were made to get to that point.

Awesome. Now lets take that frustration and build out a solution. We're the ones that will change this all for the better.

You literally could build a career out of this. I'm not saying that's a good thing. But you can't argue with the amazing job stability it provides. Also makes me think how long it takes big teams to filter out people like this.

I think in general this is a good lesson for founders in all aspects. Shutup for a bit and listen. You might like what you hear, or at least learn something.

Really excited about how this is all going to play out. I'm hoping for lots of NFC support with upcoming phones, but if the stickers are really easy to get I'd be willing to try them out as well.

I'm thinking a campaign where they get 'the internet' to all pitch in and buy $25 sponsored bricks would work better. I would do it, knowing my brick might never materialize. Now if a lot of people did that, then you could start offsetting

I tend to only download apps that are recommended to me, since random downloads have never worked out so great. For instance, the one I use now for task management is called Wunderlist. Google them and see how much effort they put into thei

I agree. It's definitely hard to pry yourself away from actual development, but some time spent analyzing any sort of plan will be rewarded. And you're going to be asked for it anyway, so might as well have something ready, right?
