The farm we purchased 6+ years ago is just starting to see fireflies and bats come back. We look at dusk visible bats to gauge our bug population. We stopped spraying and are allowing fields to go back to a mixture of natives and grasses.

For me it was moving to the rural South and buying a farm. Animals die if I don't feed or water them. It gives me a daily reset. That and I took a job that I feel ethically pushed to do for my 8-5. Just what worked for me. I hope

Mines I have worked at in the US only provided meals when you were travelling. Although unlimited double brew and a plugin for every truck/car in the parking lot was provided. Can't speak for oil and gas.

Yeah DingTalk is a weird one. Weird in a good way. It doesn't necessarily fit with western business bureaucracy but I found it giving me ideas for throwing together temporary groups of consultants that function for a 3-9 month period
