I've been trying to log into my account for over 3 weeks with no response from Coinbase. They need to handle their own support issue better if they want consumer trust.

Profiting on and propagating racist memes is a bad idea (even as a joke). Having this be an example project for your company shows extreme lack of judgement.

The "Racist Meme" business example is pretty awful for multiple reasons. http://blog.servicebot.io/meme-as-a-service/

Try again with an AMD Ryzen 1700/1800 8-core processor. You could build something similar for a fraction of the price.

Biases based on personal experiences are one of the core tenets of NIBMYism. It's not about what's better for you, it's what's better for the community at large. I could care less about George Lucas and his art. With tha

It wasn't going to take over any new space in Crissy Field, it was proposed to take the spot of Sports Basement in the Presidio. I'd much rather have a museum than a discount sports store in that location. Instead, in true NIMBY f

Can you recommend any resources for someone that wants to hike the PCT? I'd like to do it in the next couple years, but the logistics have intimidated me. I've hiked the JMT twice, and doing it again this year. I'm not really

I'm not sure Marathon des Sables belongs in that list. Badwater is almost the same distance, usually hotter, and without all the rest.

I'd disagree on your assessment that a reasonably-trained adult can finish hardrock. I've done it twice. It's an almost full-time commitment to get in the training, and also you have to get out there a month in advance just t

I don't think many ultra runners would consider Leadville extreme. It's mostly fire roads. Ever since the buy-out from Lifetime Fitness, the top runners seem to skip the event.

Hardrock has a high finisher rate because of the exhausting lottery system. You have to run a specific mountain 100 mile race in preparation. Also, Most of those people are returning runners.

This just seems kinda boring - visually and technically. Do we really need another CSS toolkit with an almost replicated feature set. Every year, I think github is going to somehow release a long awaited product that blows me away with all

I do agree that Arduino hasn't really kept up with the competition. There are tons of alternatives doing interesting things - Raspberry Pi, Beaglebone, Tessel, spark.io, Teensy, mBed. My personal favorite has to be Teensy product line.

Some serious usability issues with anti-patterns. - Why navigation bar on bottom of screen? - Sometimes close is in left, sometimes on bottom. Pick one. - Overusing the blurred background pattern. Use it sparingly to provide context, or lay

There are too many hoops to jump through. The person who finds the dogs needs an iPhone. They then need to be able to figure out that the tag requires an app. They then download an app to receive a notification from the tag. Then you someho

I'd release those devices before the tag. Otherwise, you're just catering to the hacker/maker crowd. They're just going to opt to using something like the SensorTag.

I'm not really sure I understand the marketing. For lost pets, bluetooth really isn't a reliable or great solution. If you could pair the tag with a smart dog bowl, or treat dispenser then you may be on to something interesting. I

You see a lot of articles with Dean in them that make him out to be some sort of human anomaly. In all fairness, he's had some great achievements, but he's far from an elite ultramarathoner. Most people can run the distances that

As a designer that codes, i'd really like to remove most of github's grayness. They seem to do a lot of excessive bordering and gray layers. You could remove almost all of it, without making the UI harder to use.

Always With Honor should go after LayerVault. Saul Bass should go after Always With Honor. Picasso should go after Saul Bass. Any designer that doesn't understand that design is an iterative process, shouldn't be a designer anymore.
