felt the same way so I've built one for myself that I've been using with friends and family - not (yet) open source but self-hostable https://github.com/bogpad/meepachat

Self-hostable slack for humans and openclaws - iphone, mac, web, and soon android. Very important for me to get close to feature parity with team chat apps. https://github.com/bogpad/meepachat

hi all, sharing MeepaChat — i built it because i wanted agents to feel like real teammates and assistants within a Slack-style app. i looked for self-hosted options but didn't find one that fit my needs - a full-featured iOS and macOS
