I wish I knew the exact performance characteristics of AWS generations. One of the most eye opening things to me is how terrible ECS x86 performs vs graviton instances with Fargate. I've found much lower IO and honestly seems like some

Quick check shows he made about ~$2M in royalties on Spotify, maybe a bit more with YouTube monetization. Maybe the movie made a good chunk for him too. Curious what the offer was, it likely was higher since Microsoft just wanted to have cl

1. Workflow builder is cumbersome at scale, it's often hard for anyone to jump in to understand what is going on exactly. Especially if you cannot avoid using a JS node to perform a more tricky manipulation. 2. Often times you end up w

This is especially annoying when I have their app installed, if the app popped up warning me of fraud, I would trust it far more than a random phone call.

Neither please god. We used Node-Red at a previous job for integrating some third party software, total disaster, from upgrading, using JSON for code reviews, to overall performance. Its a fun toy, leave it at that.

Should have used ChatGPT deep research to prevent you wasting time building the 41st version of this same product. Here's all the main competitors: 1. You.com 2. Poe 3. Mammouth 4. Magai 5. TeamAI 6. TypingHive 7. WritingMate 8. ChatHu

Claude Code must be Anthropics halo product. I went from API only, to $100 a month, to $200 a month Max plan, after only 2 weeks. The cycle of Plan -> Generate code -> test -> commit works incredibly well, and being able to paralle

M1 was the canary in the coal mine. Apple went from making cell phone CPUs to an Intel destroying generation of CPUs in 6 years. Personally I use a MBP for dev, at work I am required to use a Intel PC. I loathe my work laptop for being slow

Like the idea of a self hosted kanban in git, one item you should do in your repo is add the installation instructions to the readme :) I see its a TS app so I am sure the bun bundle is the install, but always good to include in your 5 min

Apple needs to work on how they refresh AirPods. You have this product, now $20 short of the AirPods Pro 2, with the same chip and ANC... It seems there is almost no reason to upgrade. With ANC is nearly the same price as the AirPods 2 Pro

Every time I read something like this, I just imagine it in "old man yells at cloud" meme format. Just because it is not reasoning doesn't mean it can't be quite good at its tasks.

Claude Code has basically grown to dominate my initial coding workflow. I was using the API and passed $50 easily, so I upgraded to the $100 a month plan and have already reached $100 in usage. I've been working on a large project, wit
