It's performance at 21B parameters is very impressive. I also like using something between 13 and 70B parameters, since it will run on a 32GB MacBook Pro easily.

You can almost feel bad for VCs who think that their little startups will compete in the productivity space. Amazon, Microsoft and Apple remove all enterprise barriers to entry, no startup can even remotely compete with this. They can take

Google is becoming unusable for programming related questions. The telltale sign was when I have to actually put in "MDN" in the search to get MDN to show up.

I always love how the new "shiny" AI will help an industry, despite the fact that old "boring" AI has not even penetrated yet. The article specifically mentions agriculture, where machine vision has barely been deployed,

It's because HIPAA is a joke and SOC2 is basically the bare minimum at this point. Too many little ways to manipulate your artifacts to pass SOC2 and no accountability when it goes wrong.

16gb running larger repos is basically a non starter. Especially in O365 environment, you're losing 5gb between word Excel and outlook. For the last two years I've been upgrading all the devs to 32gb of RAM and all of them appreci

It's more a testament to "Do really dumb shit and find out". Cybertruck (as the article points out) is a mess, and was a bad idea from the start. The fact the stock is above $50 a share is a testament to how Elon hypes invest

It's not just employers, its everywhere. In healthcare, insurers are using "AI" to deny insurance claims. The doctors are then just ChatGPT to generate the messages refuting the denial.
