Perhaps that particular machine did (I suspect you're mistaken though), but that is not the norm. Mutilating coins is not illegal in the United States.

Well. The comments here so far are about what one would expect. We're well on our way to making a 2MB+ file of "LOL USE VIM/EMACS" comments. I've been using Atom for a bit now. I like it. I started out with vim but

There are some efforts to breed better hygienic behavior into bees, so they clean out parasitized brood or clean themselves of the mites. There are a few chemical treatments, including formic acid. And there are a few management techniques

Alas, those are Varroa mites. Not helpers, but blood-sucking (or the bee equivalent to blood: hemolymph) aliens that are causing quite a problem for beekeepers. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Varroa_destructor

Every mention of the policy in this article states that it applies to the hiring process. The fact that eliminating all salary negotiation would be an even bigger headline leads me to assume the reporter didn't just miss this detail.

Well that's an unfortunate title truncation. For those scratching their heads but not reading the article: Pao is eliminating salary negotiations for new hires. No word on negotiation of raises though.

From the article: "They were springy, chewy, and resilient. They were ramenized." How do you go from that to assuming they're talking about mushy overcooked instant ramen? Given the authors' previous work on their blog,

Odd headline. It's pretty easy to get 2 axis movement with two motors. The big advantage of this setup is that the motor for one axis doesn't have to go along for the ride, which reduces your moving weight and momentum. There are
