And why do you think that is? Part C and D have privatized options because it offers gap coverage from Part A and B, so yes, privatized Part C and D would disappear if the gaps are closed.

Medicare for all doesn't eliminate other payers, and is more similar to the European system than what we have now.

What are the requirements? If having power is the top priority requirement, then China's information censorship is okay.

I didn't bring it up - I was explaining how it's different and not a form of government censorship.

Harm principle. The government doesn't ban firearms, automobiles, knives, etc. because they have potential to cause harm, so why would the government break freedoms to censor information on the basis that it has potential to cause

Yup. Governments enforcing information about individuals to be deleted is a form of censorship that violates the first amendment. GDPR tries to make stipulations about how deletions related to 'public interest' do not need to be

I would honestly probably pay if they gave better controls on gif conversion. There's a ton of gif websites but they don't do longer gifs / multiple scene text editing very well.

Rural US, right? Keep in mind that the providers in your area are also in areas where they compete with others on premium price. Just because you anecdotally don't see it doesn't mean the competition isn't happening.

How exactly does networks complicate that? Insurers had to scale (i.e. increase costs) after ACA was implemented because number of uninsured Americans went from 18 to 11%.

Which is why ACA also instituted marketplaces and insurance standards, so that competition across substitute services keeps premiums competitive. E.g. Anthem is more than free to double the premium on their bronze plan to increase net pro

The max discount I've ever seen is $0.20 for Chevron, but tends to be $0.10. Chevron is much less rare than a Safeway-branded gas station. Currently west coast gasoline is ~$4.00/g, so that's about 2.5-5.0% discount, which i
