Lack of tort reform, "defensive medicine" and the inevitability of being forced to work for a medium+ sized group or hospital have made the career increasingly unattractive. Something is amiss when 9 out of 10 physicians would discourage ch

I just similarly booked a round the world honeymoon ticket. I'd consider myself pretty good at scheduling domestic and international travel, and I'm an American-Airlines life-time platinum member. That said, the experts really impressed me

Could you please expand on why you felt v2 was a departure from Play v1 in terms of simplicity and elegance? Why do you think that is -- and why was that trade off not the right design decision (or was it?) in your point of view. And final

I'm happy for you. Could you be more specific about how ruby (as a language) and rails (as a framework) are more fun to you coming from python and then django/flask respectively? Is it the language you like more? Or the rails community?

It's an open offer. Do they support python? edit: they do, but it's not clear how to easily deploy a multi-zone application. Could you point me towards some docs?

Dear Heroku -- I know it's my job to make sure my site is available (/thread). However, I think I speak for most enterprise customers when I say I will throw money at your company the second you come up with a multi-zone/highly-available.

When will heroku have a multizone offering? I know most sites hosted on heroku are pet projects with no real need that type of uptime, but this type of downtime makes it impossible to use them as enterprise customers.

Usually the masculine form is used as a gender-neutral pronoun. While correct, with no contextual need to deviate from the norm, I find the title unnecessarily distracting. But not as distracting as mismatching number and writing "their tim

Very good post. I am a dual citizen of the United States and Italy, and though I grew up in America and consider myself culturally more American than Italian, I lived, studied and worked (as a developer) in Italy. It's difficult to describe
