But is this due to HN having an audience that is more to the right on the political spectrum or more tolerant of diverse opinions? Is there a way we can figure out which is which? Actually, it would be interesting to have a sort of (anonymo

I wouldn't be asking if I thought simple observation would do or if I were looking for anecdotes. "Simple observation proves it" isn't really an answer I can learn anything from.

If you have never driven an old car (35 years or older) you should try. Especially if you can find one with a carburetor engine and a bit of power. It is gloriously relaxing.

Since several projects have done that one might ask them if they have considered this. For all we know, they may have discussed this with Semtech, in which case the status may be knowable.

Actually, what people say about code, and how you interpret what they say, depends a lot on what you know about the person in question. I know lots of programmers who can list lots of precise reasons why they think a piece of code is "

If the hysterically prudish standards of many online services were to be applied to museums containing old artifacts, they'd hack off Michelangelo's David's dick and put a pair of boxers on him.

Except, you never interact with the (os) threads. So it isn't complexity that the programmer deals with. Async/await also doesn't address data sharing, so we're not even talking about the same thing. You can implement

Go is marketed as having a programming model that is heavily influenced by CSP. This is one of the big selling points for Go and it is at the core of how it offers concurrency. It is hardly some footnote that is hidden away. It is pretty

It isn’t that it’s invisible. It’s just that you didn’t get it until now. I am not saying that to belittle the author. This is more an observation of how programming seems to have gone from understanding both yourself and what you are doing
