Not defending fraud (in general or in this specific case), but who it being ruined for? Amazon is still making fabulous amounts of money, prices are still low there, and the policy is still generous to the customer.

Absolutely. I think one of the fun things about that calculator is that you can mess around with the numbers to try different situations. Perhaps there's a way to account for that tax (e.g. by using ~5.8% returns as the after-tax rate)

I semi-regularly plug numbers into this Buy v Rent calculator by NYT [1]. They're pretty equivalent in the 10-30 year range and match housing prices I've seen. It's hard to beat the SP500's >8% average return [2]. [1]

I believe you can add a delay for what the viewers see, which would give you some time to cut the stream in case any secrets are shown. Else, it's good practice for a secret rotation process :)

Grubhub is a good backup service in that case. I call first, then put in an order online if calling failed (which happens very rarely for me). Plus a lot of places are a little cheaper if you call.

I assume the 5 years means starting with a Bachelors. At least in the US, it's fairly unheard of to finish a PhD in 3 years or less.
