I'm the opposite. Have lived in high rises, small buildings, medium buildings, rented houses... the 6-9 size is the sweet spot for city living. Intimate enough where things like bringing in packages, giving a neighbor a spare key, et

No metro area is slowed down by bicycles. The longest a commute can be practical by bicycle (by practical I mean for the average, street/work clothes wearing person riding nearly every day) is under ten miles. You're still in th

The "slide belt". Only thing I've ever seen an ad for and realized I wanted it. So, in 25 ish years of being connected to the world on my computer, I've impulse bought one thing.

There's a picture of me as a teen on my outbound "laptop" struggling to get one hooked up somewhere. That roller-bar mouse thing though, that's what stands out :)

These are the same bikes we have in Chicago as Divvy, right? I can't imagine trying to ride one in S.F. The things weigh upwards of 40 pounds. I think the Capital bike share data in DC might be highly skewed because A. DC is super sm

The better question is would the rest of the world allow the remaining US to do a damn thing about it? The US itself has a history of supporting states that leave other states in civil wars.
