I shoot film as well. It's definitely not less work but it is enjoyable. As for convenience, the DSLRs can be tethered to your phone now. I shoot on mine and they go to Apple Photos.

I spent that and mine don't look like it's shot on a potato. Are you sure you know what you are doing? My Z50 and kit lens fits in my pocket fine.

No. That's a hill I'll die on. Ass end Nikon Z50, 250mm kit lens, hand held, no setup really other than shutter priority ... https://imgur.com/edCyNjV (very heavy crop!) And a Pixel 6a mutilating a shot: https:&#

The magic of phone cameras disappears in a moment when you get hold of a mirrorless for 5 minutes. Even a bottom end one is orders of magnitude better than the best phone camera even if it’s got a lot less megapixels.

No I didn't miss the point, not even slightly. You didn't read mine and are blinded by the insane virtues. Do you really think it's fine blowing 400 watts because you can't be arsed to think or do not have the creative i

They do suck unconditionally. They're like having a mediocre person working with you that you have to verify and validate all the time that sucks up a ton of money and electricity and generally does bad things to the environment. Edit:

This is classic Lenovo. No one knows how shit they are until you have to deal with their repair services. The trick you see is to buy 2 of them off a 3rd party seller with damaged boxes and stick one in the cupboard. This costs the same as

This is very true. Everyone always asks me to get them Netflix vouchers and stuff like that now. I'll give them the cash and they can make their own poor decisions.

Ah a fellow rum drinking parrot afficionado! I bought a movie once and the seller stole it back. So I stole another copy. Still got it. Checkmate fuckers.

The point of SAFe is so that remote workers can be as productive as Carmack on their own side gigs during the ceremonial duties and meetings. I rather like it!

I still want an in house datacentre. Our move to cloud has a 5x cost increase. We need more staff to run it as well (!).

Yeah Apple do it right on their machines, at least the laptops. There is no excuse not to do this for other vendors but it costs fractionally more so they push the risk on to the users.

Same hardware. Absolute turd. Also the screen on mine is the OLED one which is so reflective I can't see anything on the screen other than my own reflection. Who designed that POS!

UK at least you just fill in a form and it happens. Basically "I paid for something, I didn't get it, I contacted the vendor and they did not deal with it, I want my money back"

This is what Mr Chargeback is for. Had a similar experience with them and my CC refunded it. I had flights booked with them as well so they refunded those too! Basically got 3 nights in Reykjavik for £290

You can do that in Apple Photos without an AI stuff. What they need to do there is actually build a competent photo management app into the OS.

Usually no. If you damage the connector it tears the traces off the board irreparably. If it doesn't do that then there are two rows of pins which need to be resoldered. One row is under the connector. It is near impossible to solder t

Step 1: stop soldering USB-C ports to the boards on your thinkpad line as they are NOT replaceable and will end the entire machine if damaged. That is the aforementioned T14 gen 3 in the article.

Regulation is there to make sure you don't do things that damage society or hurt people. If someone stomps on you, you're probably doing things to damage society or hurt people. Stop doing that.
