I'm in a very similar position and have had much the same positive experience you've had. I use most of the tools you listed plus a few others like Gitkraken (git gui), Blender (3d effects, logo, video overlays) and ffmpeg (occasi

This is comically misguided. Do you really think people will be satisfied making barely enough money to survive? Just enough to live at the poverty line? Of course not. We live in a capitalistic society where people want to get ahead and ma

Great article, I've learned many of these firsthand and agree with their conclusions. I have some more reading to do on PDBs! K8s is a powerful and complex tool that should only be used when needed. IMO you should be wary of using it i

If you're using a library, then sure. But if you're just reading from a raw TCP socket, it's just a stream of bytes. It's up to your application to parse those bytes (e.g. into a http request). The OS will buffer bytes r

IMO this is a very pragmatic approach to converting a large project from JS to TS. It's the approach I've been using to gradually convert large existing codebases over to TS without committing to a huge up-front refactor. Definite

Most of the time you can just `npm install -D @types/package-name` to get the types for that package. E.g. `npm i -D @types/lodash`

Congrats on reaching 1.0! I'm always interested in new GraphDB solutions and glad to see the Cypher integration and Neo4j wire compatibility here. I'm excited seeing the progress being made in this space recently (this, redisgraph

True, but if you know what you're doing it's not that hard to reclaim anonymity with BTC. I'm mostly referring to mixing services here but of course there's more to it than that. Bit complicated but still not hard.

Wait.... are you talking about grocery stores or factories? Facetiousness aside, your statement about thousand congregating and dispersing all over a community is true of grocery stores as well, with the added bonus of having a different mi

I'm inclined to agree with OP here on the point that a factory is inherently safer than a grocery or retail store. At the former, the same set of people are working in a rather insulated environment where you can establish strict rules

High likelihood of causing an outbreak...? Not sure how you're reaching that conclusion. Their stated approach seems much safer and more conservative than any grocery or retail store currently IMO.

True, you shouldn't expect the CEO of a large company to listen to the FNG or scrub who bypasses the chain of command. But a good CEO will recognize and reward those who bring them valuable input through the proper channels.
