Just tried out the virtual machine. Seems pretty slick! It's a very fast OS, just like I remember BeOS being back in 1998. Still suffers the same problem that I have no real reason to use it.

For pirating DRMed material? Probably because every major DRM scheme has been compromised, so it's easier to just grab the original stream. If you're talking about in relation to the article, how would screen capture software let

I've been using mozilla since forever. I believe in The Mission. If I went to view media and a message told me it wouldn't work because of DRM, I wouldn't switch browsers to view it. "The medium is the message," and

noob question: why is the power always going out? Are the generating stations not making enough electricity, or is the grid in a state of poor repair?

You should try out some better books. Have a go at this passage from A Portrait Of The Artist As A Young Man, by Joyce, wherein the protagonist Stephen Dedalus is losing his mind after having spent a week being whipped into a religious fren

That's an exceptional value. So cheap for such good features. And the firefox marketplace has lots of great apps. FirefoxOS really seems to be taking off, particularly in Latin America.

Were board game sales ever suffering? You wouldn't know it after dealing with some of my insufferable board game aficionado friends.

No one ever says that the different python implementations are fighting a losing battle. People generally seem to say that having multiple implementations is good for the language.

What is the benefit here to the tweeter? I guess you could post an affiliate link and get paid for it. Otherwise you're just advertising for amazon for free, which hardly needs doing.

Rice is cheaper per kilogram but there's much more protein per kg in barley and quinoa.

Healthier: barley and quinoa have higher counts for most nutrients and are much higher in protein. Taste: Rice is quite bland (generally you put something flavourful on it), but barley and quinoa both have nice flavours on their own.

They should have used Barley or quinoa. They are much healthier than rice, and tastier too.
