Nearly everything but the kernel is auto-updated to the latest version on all Android devices, even if they're several OS versions behind. This benefits users, but not developers. Developers still need to code and test against old AP

OAuth only makes sense if they provide an API for iCloud calendar, which isn't the case as far as I know.

I remember trying out AppCode and trying to get the syntax configuration to be exactly how I like, but it wasn't possible. (It wasn't something major, but it was still annoying.) I do agree that AppCode (and IntelliJ) is a nice ID

I am currently in the same situation. (I posted here on HN a while back: https://news.ycombinator.com/item?id=5272575 ) The author was lucky enough to find a lawyer that will defend him pro bono, but in my case (and I assume

I agree. I was talking about 'management interface' that shardling suggested. So, this would only kick in if you are a contributor of that project.

+1 Also, how often do contributors look at the source code on github? Contributors will most likely have the repo cloned on their machine. I think if management interface were to exist, it should default to Pull Requests or Issues, or some

At Starbucks, whenever I ask for "Grande Iced Americano", they repeated the order by saying "Iced Grande Americano". It's interesting to see that I am not the only one confused about the ordering.

From my experience, git pull origin branch didn't do what I expected. (Pulling from the remote branch to the current branch.) I haven't figured out what it does, so I just use git fetch then merge. :(

By Lemer & Company in the patent infringement claim that I received. I am guessing that after GTTA got sued, they decided to settle and license the patents.

Thank you for your comment. The problem is that I cannot afford to take this to court, even if I am guaranteed to win.

Yes, I will be doing that. I was just hoping to find someone who already went through this, because there are many transit apps out there.

That is my conclusion as well and I will be seeking legal help. I thought that if there is anyone out there that dealt with or is dealing with the same issue, I could get some help.

That's what I thought too at first, but GTTA is listed as a licensee.

I wouldn't rule out core data just from this post. Core data may have some quirks, but it's pretty reliable and very useful from my experience. I haven't given iCloud + core data a try, since I wasn't sure if it were reliable yet.

This is exactly how xmonad handles multiple screens. I am not very hopeful that Apple will implement this, since it can be pretty confusing to users.

What exactly is the use case for Coda? It doesn't seem like it offers any benefit for dynamic websites, but then it doesn't have wysiwyg editing either. I am curious why it is popular.

Sure, that could be a pro of RubyMotion, but then that's not the goal. I develop in Objective-C as well, and I am very interested in what RubyMotion will bring to the table. So far, what I've seen is typical Objective-C code translated to R
