Sure, some work will be needed. But the Liquid Glass look starts with a recompile against the new libraries.

That's a disappointment, and in the screenshots, the app actually doesn't look native at all. The new Liquid Glass design, with the round search boxes and transparency, is nowhere to be seen.

No, rift also has problems. For example, if I have Calendar on the left, and Finder on the right, and I open a tab in Finder, then it looks like it works. However if I close the 2nd Finder tab, then Calendar maximizes below Finder.

I think the problem is, that I installed rustup with homebrew. When I installed rustup in the official way, with the shellscript, I was able to compile according to instructions. Might be my installation though.

I'm getting an error during compiling. I did a "brew install rust", cloned the project then did "cargo build --bins --release" and got the error Compiling rift-wm v0.1.0 (/Users/bartvk/Developer&

Is it that bad to buy a new backup disk when you change file systems? It's been many years ago since HFS+ got retired.

On one hand, you're right and I do have a smaller tent. On the other hand, on a motorcycle you have a lot of bulky clothes and you need to put them somewhere. So it's always a bit of a balance.

I also recommend the 3F UL Gear tents. I bought the Taiji 2 for motorcycle trips. Very roomy for one person. https://3fulgear.com/product/freestanding-tent/taiji-2/

For a couple of years, we used a baby monitor on an iPad in the baby room. We never used IR illumination, instead we just waited until we got a notification on our phone, then watched the video. It was never utterly dark in the baby's

It's a shame that the Steam Deck has no such a thing like Apple's "Find my". I used to be a great fan of Prey Project, but I don't think it's installable on the Steam Deck without leaving Steam mode. https:&#x

Yeah I don't get why I don't see these more often. I have a case around my MacBook and it's a pretty good protector. My tip: get something cheap from Amazon. I tried the Incase Hardshell and it broke within a year.

I've been eyeing 3D printers and since a friend of mine is so happy with the A1 Mini, that's what I was leaning towards to. Is there a Prusa equivalent model of the Bambu A1 Mini?

    A1 Mini build volume is 180 x 180 x 180 mm³

Typical how they first let Korg do the talking, when actually, Korg is much slower to innovate. With one line, the article mentions Tasty Chips synthesizers (who are friends of mine), but as far as I know, they were actually the first, just

If you make a lot of selfies then the camera is actually better. When making selfies on a regular phone, you use the front-facing camera which is often sub-par. But with the Samsung Folds, you use the main camera for selfies (you flip open

It's a piece which lists very good examples of normalization of deviance in organizations. Personally it happened to myself as well. I regularly rent a Tesla and once, I took a date on a trip and I drove us through the city, her riding

That's interesting, so fiction would be more realistic if they always have distances of hundreds of lightyears apart? But that means that galaxy-scale structure actually does matter, right? A hundred thousand sun-like stars isn't

Yeah but it goes the other way round, too. Gore-Tex laminated textile jackets are amazing. Suppose you ride through rain, and it clears up 15 minutes before your destination, you arrive with a dry jacket. Leather just soaks it up.
