It depends. If we’re talking about e.g. GCP we use “cloud”, but Chmura Krajowa is a Polish product and it has a Polish name, so we use “chmura”. We basically use the original name in this context.

Will it work when a server is free and the messages older than a few months are “hidden”? We have a free Slack server with 3k members, and buying some better license that’d let us export old messages is like $25k

Yes, IMHO the world doesn't need another build system. Bazel sounds great, and the mobile development community seems to be converging arond it as the go-to tool for huge apps, e.g. see rules_xcodeproj [0]. It'd be a lot of work,
