Every time we add capacity, we max out again in a week or so. We are 3 people total, servicing 120,000 customers. We could start wait listing new users into the service, but there are many of them who get value out of the product as it is,

This is a good analogy we like to use also. We also sometimes compare it to SMTP and Gmail. People used to run their own exchange servers, now it's easier to let a company worry about security and backups, and make it cloud based. This is

Just to chime in with that Fred said, very sorry for the delays. We added a blog post here: http://blog.coinbase.com/post/45976220890/pending-transactio... Several pieces of the site scaled up about 10x in the past month or two, and this

We had a display bug introduced over the weekend which showed incorrect cached balance amounts. Definitely frustrating, and my deepest apologies for that. We are working through support requests and should have a fix out for your account

Worth noting that Coinbase also does not have a fee to accept merchant payments (and keep them in bitcoin): https://coinbase.com/docs/merchant_tools/payment_buttons If you decide to cash out to USD the fee is 1%.
