I am not trying to have an argument with anyone. I'd never even heard of ring species before today

The lack of intermediate species was something that i had thought was a big flaw in the theory of evolution. In my question, I don't think that I stated that as a fact but certainly suggested that I thought it was true. As a result of

>Criticism of evolution isn't sensible, it's ignorant I am not criticising evolution. I'm not qualified to do that. It seems like it is the best explanation yet to explain the diversity of life on this planet. Personally,

That makes sense to me. Take two groups of animals from one species and put them in different environmental conditions, isolated from the other for long enough (maybe millions of generations?) and eventually you will end up with 2 distinct

That makes sense thanks. I'm not sure how a mutation that prevents breeding would be disseminated from the animal in which it occurred?

The black moths could still mate with the peppered variety so they're still the same species just different 'breeds', perhaps, so is this really evolution? I am a layman but one criticism of the theory of evolution that seems

That's true, I'm not the most sociable of people and a lot of what makes cities attractive is wasted on me. When I moved to the country it was the libraries and the bookshops I missed. Today with broadband and amazon, I don'

I live in a rural location. I could not financially afford that micro apartment but I consider the people who live in it far worse off than me.

I tried it but it doesn't like my ip (vpn) and makes me do a captcha before every single search. I have switched to duckduckgo, I can understand that they have reasons for doing that but it make it unbearable.

The squeaky wheel gets oil. I would say that people who are less acquiescent will get more tests, sooner, especially in a scenario where demand outstrips supply. Women tend to be better in that way in my experience, men are more easily fobb

Some people are advising that duckduckgo can say that they are not tracking you but being based in the USA could be made to do so by the NSA.

Thanks I get it now. It would be interesting to know if the chap who reported being connected to, with 2FA on, had restricted access via the whitelist or had left it the way mine was. I suspect the latter. However I am so paranoid at the mo

Makes sense to me what you say. People often say that knowing latin is good if you want to study medicine. It's ridiculous. Learning a list of 100 relevant latin root-words would likely achieve as much.
