Supersoakers look nothing like real guns and what's 'even more' ironic about a black man inventing it? What's ironic about it at all?

You're right, I got that wrong. She nevertheless, imo, played a pretty big role in paving the way for an attack on Iraq and was rewarded for that with elevation to cabinet afterwards.

Well it's common knowledge that the person he's talking about was a senior member of Bush's cabinet when the war on Iraq in 2003 was launched on a false premise.

Tiobe seem to alter their methodology fairly often which afaik also has the effect of altering historical rankings. In other words if you look at the TIOBE rankings on the wayback machine for a particular year in the past they can differ gr

Won't it amount to the same thing as a heat source anywhere else in a room, with convection and radiation?

I miss the times when every light fitting was the same (one size, bayonet style). I don't know how many different types and sizes of fittng we have. It's a pain replacing bulbs now. I preferred the light from the old incandescent

This has more to do with tribalism than religion imo. Religion is just another way of belonging to a tribe.

That's an amazing resource. I remember frank delaney from bbc radio years ago, I had no idea he was still around, looks like he's moved to america and reinvented himself. Thanks for the info.

If I try Ulysses again it will probably be an audiobook, I could never make any headway with it in text. I might try getting hold of Dubliners in book form.

Cheers, thanks for the kind words and for being big enough to come back like this. I apologise as well, my attempts at humour fall flat a lot of the time. A little of it goes a long way according to my wife. Best wishes to you.
