There is already a thread about it being down because problems with AWS. Not sure this warrants another thread on HN. Maybe once we know the technical reason behind it, we can discuss more?

The chart you posted was about revenues not profits. Same argument applies to Amazon also but they are at least making some profit. The strategy of pursuing revenue and growth only makes sense for so long. At some point you have to cash tha

He is better off making sure that his company is not facing the end soon. For a company that is in business for almost a decade, they are yet to turn a profit.

One bad experience can change the perception. Interesting snub at Google by recommending Bing maps over Google :)

Actually it is possible to show the benefits of OIS without video. It allows you to use longer shutter speeds when taking pictures in low light. Take a look at this one: http://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=player_embedded&v=j...

I doubt I'd call it faked. Would you call siri ads faked? Everybody who has used it can vouch that it just doesn't work let alone in noisy downtown. It was a promo video used when revealing a product (not an ad broadcast on TV) that was try

android to me is really a poorly designed inconsistent mess. Windows phone has a fresh design with intuitive design and the Lumia 920 hardware is frankly better than anything available out there.
