I recently came across this situation when attempting to hack on Keepass2Android [0], a Keepass client for Android. It was written with Xamarin, which was a closed-source framework at the time. Having to download and use software with a 30-

How is this "not worth the time" just because it's a browser extension? I don't understand why people are so caught up on this technicality.

I'm an Android developer and I'd love to work here, but I'm not an American citizen and I feel like sponsorship would be difficult, considering it's not a business. But I love what you guys are doing :).

I think an appropriate analogy would be the difference between the source-code and the binary of an application. In theory, the binary would be agnostic and future-proof given the documentation of the format, but the source-code is much mor

I imagine it also has something to do with convenience. Being such an old game, the technical requirements are quite low, which allows them to easily have that setup of multiple virtual machines on a few servers. Also, I believe they can us

I would agree with you in the case of Diablo 2 (and probably 3, though I haven't played that one). But the first Diablo holds a special place in my heart precisely because of the atmosphere. Gameplay-wise it was actually pretty broken.

Interesting that the author makes the point that choice is important for an OS like Android, and then recommends only Google-made alternatives to make it "as Google intended". Google software != best software, necessarily.

I agree with what you're saying, which is also why I think the title of the blog post should really be: " I work for only 3 hours a day, but everyday". It's less of a command or suggestion and more an expression of what
