People love their ingroup terminology and quirks. Like that a power cable connecting the RV is a shoreline (eyeroll) and that ships are female (double eyeroll).

Wow what a rabbit hole to get into. The whole system of “lordship” is wild to me, I recommend watching Downton Abbey for a light intro into the topic :)

Hypothetical that I’d be happy to deal with when the time comes. We always imagine the worst case I get that. But once something like this takes off I imagine the whole point is to have created a community. And a community has lots of peopl

I keep sharing stories like this with them. Privacy violations, genocide, mental health, …. Whenever I think it might be something someone cares about I share with them. I also make an effort to explain to my non tech folks that meta is Fac

Different experience for me, ~500Gb so about 10 chunks of 50Gb (largest chunk size) that had to be downloaded by hand because of their auth. When the download got interrupted I had maybe 4 more tries, might have been more, but after trying

Thanks, I think I get it now. In our case I've dealt with this problem by refactoring the monolithic agent into smaller agents, smaller, more specific prompts, fewer, more relevant tools. We've found that monolithic agents just do

I meant precedence for the destruction of a “social system”, obviously I know that we’re destroying the planet. The quote was > Capitalism breeds globalization and then his destruction. Since this is our first capitalism it’s hard to ext

Based on those numbers I’d be surprised to not “find a single one who would be offended if their employer partnered with the military”.

That sounds interesting. How did that work, did you rent a place for coworking and then opened it up for the social aspect?

I'm curious, what issue does that solve? I'm only working on agents that make tool calls via HTTP in a home baked way but I can't imagine how resolving the tools from 2 MCP servers is harder than 1.

I imagine much of not going after big tech was probably politics and the unwillingness to offend a major geopolitical and trading partner.

What you probably envision but didn’t say is that this would be in a world where a website could be a first class citizen and behave more like an app. Mobile browsers don’t have e to be so shitty.

An app can’t be hidden easily, in a browser you just go incognito. Some people just don’t want others to know.
