Well, SVG, while actually just being XML, supports embedded pngs/jpegs and can be exported to most raster-graphics formats from the command line. Not sure if it's what you're looking for, but personally I love the possibility

Did you learn how to fly yet? ;) I think at that point, Arthur learns how to be less Arthur himself. I don't think things between him and Fenchurch would've worked out, had he been the same person he was at the beginning of the bo

In fact, I think The Discord desktop client versus Ripcord[0] illustrates nicely how much better a native solution can run. [0] https://cancel.fm/ripcord/

Yes. For several reasons: The most important of which is, that we are not always online. Be it because we simply choose not to be, because we want our goddamn peace for once, or that we're actually in a place or situation with no inter

I like your typo in the last capslock, it accurately describes my capslock key ;) Though, that actually is interesting, and you made me read up ab bit on Japanese.

We did play it a lot as kids, meaning my parents, me and one of my brothers - it's pretty popular in German-speaking countries (well, for obvious reasons)^^

Don't you have any problems with the locking mechanism being a bit flimsy? I agree it's a great knife, especially for the price, but the lock rattles around, even when I put it in place very forcefully... May just be my knife thou

It's probably not impossible - this guy[0] has made a midi-to-text converter, which i've been trying to use to make some simple tracks. With moderate success, but that's more my lack of practice and musical knowledge. edit: i

Whoa - he's responsible for infiniminer? Considering Minecraft was built on top of it, I wonder how much credit he's been given... Also, most of these games actually look like you could learn something from them, while having fun.

In case of HhGttG, are you referring to the first Book, or to the whole series? I'm personally most fond of "Goodbye, and thanks for all the Fish" Mostly because it makes me so goddamn happy :)

That's a nice way of sharing notes - nowadays a trello board or something of the sort might be more accessible to the masses, but this format has its merits. For anyone using org-mode - is this approach similar? (I mean sure, it's

In the case of reddit I heard, that - at least in the very early stages, the creators themselves provived a lot of the content, and even hired some people almost exclusively for that purpose. I can't remember where I read it though.
