fb.com is just two letters for most people. I cant imagine why facebook the site and facebook-mail have to be in different addresses. Most likely the mail feature will be surfaced within the facebook UI. Right now, fb.com redirects to faceb

Lars Bak (author of V8) talks about this quite a bit in this video with Erik Meijer. http://channel9.msdn.com/shows/Going+Deep/Expert-to-Expert-E... summary version - there's not a lot to be gained by doing that(at least from a Goog persp

It could be your shoes as well. I've been running for a couple years, and take frequent breaks now. Vary your run; do different distances, speeds etc. But don't neglect shoes; indulge in a new one every 500 Km.

This looks very cool, but can't replace GR(for me) for two reasons: - The whole point of GR is I can read the original site even when it's not available - works nicely with restrictive filters etc. - It's slower than GR - for obvious reason

>If someone wants to add Duck Duck Go to search engines in Opera, here's how (my own screenshot): No such hackery required - it's Opera after all! There's a "Create Search" context menu these days, and it works on any text box. In summa

There are some shells like that: http://poshconsole.codeplex.com/ Windows only - WPF based Powershell console. I think the simple reason is there are better tools for working with graphics. Text terminals were great, and are still immens

Ok, help me with this please. The key to the problem, literally, is the recipient key. If I understand the challenge details correctly, and the OpenPGP RFC, a recipient key is required on the cloud side to decrypt the session key. How is

The only thing I'm annoyed about DDG is its over-reliance on Javascript. Now I'm no luddite; i enjoy the flexibility and power javascript brings. However I think the first page of results should come with the page response. For people lik

As somebody from that culture, I think that's way too simplistic. Like all other things, there are good sides and bad sides. Good things: - Pre-vetted as you say, so there's some due diligence done. - It's easier(in some aspects) if your p

I'm more puzzled that somebody who ostensibly used to train intelligence analysts, got removed for such an indiscretion. Did he think he wouldn't get caught out, or he simply didn't care? If he didn't care, why the Mr.X bit?

Still doesn't matter. Unless you create an ecosystem around your software, I think it still isn't relevant in the larger scheme of things. For eg., can Maemo, Android, WebOS etc all share applications, APIs, drivers, and other infrastruc

Oh well, the Excel team itself credits Tufte with the invention : http://blogs.msdn.com/excel/archive/2009/07/17/sparklines-in... What's more it's by the Patent applicant himself - Sam Radakovitz! Something is missing here.
