I'm not clear what you are saying. I am curious about what humans can do in the same context. It's becoming a standard I think for some tasks. E.g. how does a Gen AI stack up against a human in quality and "cost". Perhap

Would be great to spend some money (other people's money) on paying some illustrators and artists to do the same for comparison. It could be straight images converted to SVG or direct vector graphics.

For a lot of people the infrastructure is an outlet in our garage. Going to the gas station is a novelty and just for snacks. Road trips are a few times a year and not a dealio at all. A PHEV is a nice sweet spot. It's 2026 and we are

It is confusing. As far as I can tell "rambler for Android" is a named subfeature of gboard and only on Pixel 10+ and newer Samsung phones. From a user standpoint it "just" seems like the transcription has gotten better

Maybe "one second" was a poorly phrased colloquialism meaning "right away". One can sign up for new product releases and if I paid attention to my marketing emails I could have clicked through. I'm guessing there ar

You knew upfront that it was generated. I did too so the first thing I did was look at the lips of the actors convincing myself that there were flaws. When it comes to fish swimming around I don't think I would be able to reliably tell

This is paid API access only. They are here to make money not to position themselves for an IPO. Not a value judgement only an observation.

Can we get back the many thousands of hours wasted by humans holding their noses and pronouncing Lattner as an open source fraud?

That assumes that software is endlessly exploitable. We are also able to use AI tools to more easily move software into the realm of formal verification where there is no implementation defects only logical ones. Ones that can be reasoned a

This is HN where we discuss specific things such as articles, blog posts and tweets. There is often good insight in the comments but mostly it’s people talking about their opinions. I’d rather review the item myself first and then come for

The number of remotely-exploitable defects is going to drop by 1 or 2 orders of magnitude. We now have amazing machines that will find pretty much all the a priori knowable ones. They outperform even the most gifted h@x0rs. So that just lea
