Yes. Without a L1 cache a cpu is just a hyper active kid in a box. L2 important too. If one cares about performance learn about caches.

It would be fun to do some sort of textual style transfer on these docs and flood the zone with hundreds of plausible fakes. Would make hijackers job at least harder.

One of the first things this article lists is enabling Huawei screen capture and record. This is overall an unserious guide and of questionable provenance at best. Doesn't belong on HN.

Maybe so, but my experience is that the "ops" people don't want to be "devs". As other posters have said they do want to be integrated with design choices that will affect them, and many times they do write non triv

That doesn't appear accurate. If you happen to live in a building (condo/apt) that is supported by one of the other gigabit companies you list then you are good to go. But that is a very very small part of the population. Otherwis

Good thoughts, but no need to wait, Nature Conservancy: https://www.nature.org/en-us/ As others have pointed out it's not enough to let the land alone, it needs at least minimal stewardship.

This is a well researched article. Although mistakes can be made it's a bit puzzling that there was so much miscommunication. Maybe too many orgs involved. That Seattle fire department wasn't even informed beforehand seems clumsy.
