A point in the article is that self esteem as a feeling alone was supposed to fix the problem instead of doing actual work.
- throwaway201103 6y agoYes, it was classic conflation of cause and effect. The observation was that successful people had high self-esteem. The (wrong) conclusion was that they had the high self-esteem first and that led to their achievements and success.
