Is submitting yourself to the concept of a god not the opposite of introspection? You are forgoing the need to find meaning in yourself and the world around you and instead choosing to believe a pre-made 'answer' to those question

Quite surprised to see how many comments here agree with the decision. It is quite clear that the WHO have to placate the CCP in order to avoid China withdrawing it's cooperation in its entirety. Yes, China has not been fully transpare

Why are advertisements for big tech companies always so... cringey? What target audience responds to this kind of marketing?

I'd just like to point out to other commenters the context of where this opinion is coming from - that being that this user has a comment history that denies that the Tiananmen Square massacre took place.

Samsung are big offenders for this, putting the Peel TV remote on their phones, which can't be uninstalled. Recently, the app was updated to put advertisements on your phone's homescreen. Completely unacceptable

The story about the insulin pump seems rather unethical, almost as if she is performing research on a human child when they are not of the age to consent, and would be biased toward consent due to parental influence.
