Sam and Greg were part of the board apparently, so definitely a coup (we can debate for hours if it's a coup or not, but come one, imagine the scene being played in a movie and not being played as a coup). Another way to think about th

Not sure why you're getting downvoted. The safety around guns is indeed for the shooter, not for the shootee.

Organizations are systems, not people, if he put into place the right incentive structure then the company will go in a good direction with or without him. Arguably the structure is now set in stone with his departure.

I feel like he’s been acting a bit strange for a while. During interviews he often mentions the dangers of AI and how he’s not thr best spokeperson for AI. It seemed very counter productive/self sabotaging to me.

I really wonder why it’s so expensive to run. I always hear things about scaling but I used to run a top 500 alexia website and it was just a php app running on a mutualized offer for $5/month. Lots of manual caching though but still.

I agree with your points, and I don’t think it voids my point. The Asian way is completely inefficient because it’s way past the trade off that the US made. It’s nothing like the US. The US is “bring your work home” and Asia is “bring home
