The problem with sword combat isn't the computational complexity, but the fact that reporting a hit late is much more noticeable. If you are running across some open space and a bullet hits you, the game can report you being hit 500ms

I can confirm that. I have a couple of games on App Store that use it. I built them initially in 2015 and have updated them a couple of months ago with the latest libGDX. I used RoboVM just like that person in the article, but I used it wit

To counter all those throwaway accounts created to praise Brave, I have to say that I have no intention to use it because it's based on Chromium. Single-culture is bad even if your intentions are good. I never used Chrome either and ha

I actually don't mind Facebook ads. If I'm on Facebook already, there's no additional javascript loading and hogging my browser with dozens of megabytes of tracking scripts. From performance point of view, browsing FB is a be

I'm curious now. What's there to look up? It's just like WHERE, but you use it on aggregate values. WHERE filters the data before you aggregate it, HAVING afterwards. That's all there is to it.

I was hoping to read what's it about here in the comments, without opening the website, but ... For people like me: It's a book about theory of chaos. To quote: > By now, there are also many physics textbooks on "chaos&quo

I hate soft wrapping. It makes the code much harder to read and reason about. Especially if someone else wrote it. I rather choose to scroll to the right to see long lines when needed.

Just to counter all the people who don't use F keys. I use them all the time. F11 multiple times a week because I have some icons on my desktop for applications I don't use that often. F2, F3, F5, F6, F7, F8 daily because I still
