Big corporations tend to copy what trendy tech companies do, and react dominates that market place. I haven’t look into too much but I’ve yet to see something like a boot camp even teach angular. It’s always react and friends.

In your experience what languages would you say handle async well? Genuinely curious. I’ve only ever done JS professionally for a decade but started branching out into python, rust, and kotlin due to personal projects.

Trust but verify only applies to people not pseudo legal entities that have at most a few hundred years of legal history that will likely change again in the next 1,000 years. People acting behalf on these entities don’t deserve your unearn

I feel like you've neglected that there was a massive lawsuit against big tech where Google, Adobe, Apple, Paypal, and others actively colluded with each other to suppress wages: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/High-

I feel like words are very cheap, unless there's literal government regulation and making it a felony, it's all meaningless. What government regulations actually prevent this?

Some libraries will create code mods to assist in transitions. For example I've used some MUI codemods in the past to make transitions to newer versions of the library more seamless [1]. There are also codemods to say move from undersc

This sounds exactly like fashion to me. One just has to look at how often design has changed over the last decade with the many fads and worst UX. I feel like when you have an org of designers they will justify in wanting to redesign everyt

In my experience when you don't design and deliver code with testing or accessibility in mind, you end rewriting entire components. This all drastically adds to the end costs. Most leadership thinks this is "efficient" but it

I've seen this often as well, typically some library will get flag by programs like snyk giving you a "high" score. The way snyk scores packages is completely asinine. It favors libraries that are constantly being updated com

What do you mean by excessive spending? Is this the same California that has a $97 billion budget surplus? [1] I honestly don't know what you're getting out outside of snide political commentary. [1] https://www.nytimes

I would hope people feel empowered to go to the authorities or media, but all too often sex workers are heavily discriminated against. Sometimes going to the police can get them in trouble, going to the media may bring unnecessary attention

I give this less than a year before we get a scandal where a few Meta employees start banning accounts of sex workers and extort them in order to get their account back.

In our current political climate, people would attack this during the good times as wasteful and not a good use of money. I agree with you, but we have a party in this country that doesn't think good governance is a virtue.
