Why is farming an improper use of water? I mean nations need to grow food and not rely on other countries as their bread basket, that seems like good systems planning. As for the types of food I suppose that is a good discussion to have but

Because if the CEO of a trillion dollar company wants people in the office, it's very likely that you will convince them otherwise. Tim Cook has tremendous influence over his company, these employees do not. Maybe if they had a union t

Maybe allow teams, but I don't think allowing individuals to choose isn't good. Having a team that's half remote/half in-person is worse of both worlds. What typically ends up happening IME is that the in-person half typ

Because there's not much to be gained from "tuning" into a 24-hour news cycle, you're much better off reading news stories after several weeks IMO. The benefit to this is that complete pictures are more likely to be form

It's not hard for these companies to bribe politicians to allow welfare recipients to buy their products through snap/food stamps/ebt by getting exemptions. It's very devious and wrong.

That's fair, but should the lead time for housing projects be several decades? I'd think it'd be easier to zone the potential land first and worry about building when you can anticipate demand.

Isn't it kind of dangerous to make these types of plans regarding humans well into the future? We're talking two to three decades of potential leeway time until a new generation from birth to workforce will occupy these homes. A l

I kinda took it as more of a find the person immediately, understand the situation and why they made those choices, then find a path forward. It probably can be used nefariously, but I'll give them the benefit of the doubt.

This is bad IMO, why should individuals have to rectify something a company did? All it does is encourage bad behavior because I'm sure that the still comes out ahead if even 10% (being generous) did the above. Society would be way bet
