You run proxmox on protecli? What firewall are you using? I'm always afraid of mixing different stack on my firewall (OpnSense) because of potential cascade failure.

Might be nitpicking, but that's a $600 piece of equipment. Most people think of mini-pcs as low cost system. Yes, beelink makes very good product. They actually listen to consumers. They iterate fast and release product lines very fast

I think my point is still valid. How are people using sqlite3 in server context? Single process in modern webapp and 15-60 minutes of data loss might be acceptable but why? To save yourself a postgresql install which can be on the same serv

#1. They are pretty much my default settings now. But how do you serialize concurrent write with multiple processes? Let's say you run your API service in separate stack as your webapp service. You can't really do that. I know som

I still can't figure out how people are using sqlite in server context. 1. How are they managing the concurrent writes? I know about lock or queue, but if my stack needs multiple server, then what? 2. How do they manage durable data st

At this point, are there any educated consumers still use Amazon for critical things unless there is no alternative? My dad is as cheap as they get, even he doesn’t buy that stuff from Amazon.

I think BLS[1] is the gold standard. But some might be location dependent. Many states have local employment offices run by the labor department. [1] https://www.bls.gov/ooh/home.htm

Most businesses still operate mainly from M-F. Most software are written for businesses. You can't really afford to bring your clients' business down, that's a lot of potential lawsuits or credits that you need to give back.

The problem of your math is that you are assuming rentals are equal from one place to another as long as the price match. I can tell you that's not true. My old 3BR apartment in a very desirable school neighborhood went from $2K to $5K
