The unelected bureaucrats of the US Department of Defense control a lot of money, I'm expecting more lawsuits from the parties who don't get as much of that money as they want.

The article didn't actually say what "Stripe's cloud environment" was, besides "outside of the production environment". I assumed the company had their own hardware but your assumption is more probable.

Looking at the pages and pages of crap games in Roblox is a bit reminiscent of a long list of horrid software on a dialup BBS. Everything popular seems to start as a clone of non-Roblox games, and then goes off on it's own direction fr

I'd have thought the correct procedure is to have the bailiff remove them from the courtroom, handcuffs would only be needed if they refused to go. They can pout in the hallway. From the article, it was more than just handcuffing and

I think the focus on work was true at first, but the majority evolved towards serving web pages and video streaming, on cell phones and TVs more than computers. The networks and devices that get built evolve to meet public demand, if decisi

The homo genus has survived huge variations over the last 200k years. The likely global warming scenarios are very bad but extinction would need a major screwup with AI and/or genetic engineering. Evolutionary processes will prevent t
