I feel that. I realized the same. But my view was...if people couldn't be bothered to reach out to me if it wasn't plastered in their face, were they really important in the first place? To me obviously, no, so I didn't re

I just wish more people and especially companies would join this movement to leave. I hate that the city I live in has almost zero online presence. If I want to sell something, everyone says 'use FB market.' As someone who refuse

Yeah I think the infamous Jenna Marbles video where she puts on makeup really was the first time it opened my eyes to it. She goes from average or less to amazing in short time. Link for those who haven't seen it. Can't believe

Quit judging partners by looks alone. Looks fade, character that clicks with you likely won't. The relationships I've had and hate most in my life are almost perfectly inversely proportional to how much time they spent trying to

I think it's an important point. To kinda bounce of your comment and replies, no, I don't think the SAT is racist in any way. However, I don't think it's a particular useful metric by itself. I had a near perfect SAT sco

There are a ton. It's weird, because they use FB differently than a lot of people. It really is the 'internet'. Pirated movies and all.

Likely the registry, not registrar. When I worked at one 10 was the limit. Unsure if that was handed down by ICANN, though.

I'm pretty torn. I've found a lot of small shops to be...well, dicks. Often acting like they were doing me a favor and I was a nuisance. I still remember one guy saying 'I have plenty of money and business, call me back or

You asked me to be more nuanced. Or told me. I'm just asking what you meant by that specifically.

I mean... you're being rather confrontational for no reason IMO. The topic is about staffing shortages in one city. I laid out my experience seeing this same thing elsewhere. And two different people tell you they see it in Florida.

Encrypted, as it's used with messengers, means E2E encrypted. Anyone who is calling Telegram 'encrypted by default' while technically correct, is being very, very misleading.

I'm unsure what you're asking of me...please clarify? I've traveled in or through Asheville, Greenville, Savannah, Knoxville, Jacksonville, and noticed it. Savannah was probably the worst, and it is not a high cost area, at

I know this article is about Tahoe and paints a rather bleak picture...but this is nationwide. I traveled most of the east coast over the past few months, and every single city's service sectors are begging for employees. I've

Hey, I didn't mean to come across as rude but when I reread it, it was. I wasn't expressing myself well, I apologize. I've been a Go mentor for years, and see how people take concepts they are used to and try to shoehorn the

You keep saying this, but it doesn't make a lot of sense. Your initial pretense was that you always make 3 objects, so move it into a function. When people show how to accomplish that, you state 'well what about my test that doesn

I'm not arguing against destructors, but this example is ultra contrived. Why would you defer cleaning up objects you are returning? That's no longer your responsibility. Instead you'd return an object, and make it the call

Wait I thought GloFo essentially gave up the node race and was settling into 'not the latest and greatest' market a la TI. Is that not a correct assumption?

Do people really prefer relevant ads? I just disregard them, and it doesn't matter to me whether they are relevant or off the wall. The only ads I specifically don't like are the ones Youtube have randomly showed my wife and I.

One is a useful product people use every day, and earns money. The other is a hellpit to see who can out-victim and out-woke each other.

I find channels massively overcomplicate many things. Cool in theory, not so useful in practice. Anymore, I only use them as a semaphore to keep less than X routines running at once.

I can believe it. I firmly believe the brain acts very differently between typing and handwriting. I make stupid mistakes all the time when I type. Not misspelling, but those easy there/their/theyre type mistakes. I think it&#x

Since sales aren't evenly divided hourly, this is misleading. I'd imagine sales are much higher during the 6PM to 12AM EST hours than say, 3AM to 9AM EST hours. This time on a Sunday night could easily be 3 to 4x that much.

My wife asked me to buy some things, and after getting frustrated by Amz doing this I just bought from Walmart online. I wonder how many others did something similar, or how many millions of dollars such an outage cost them.

I never minded ads, until ads started being abusive. Malware, screen takeovers, redirects, etc. If they'd fix the ad problem this could work. I'm surprised ad supported sites haven't demanded better.

Same. But for me they're just too expensive. I'm a rather honest guy who appreciates the same. Instacart is full of deception. You think you pay a delivery fee, a service fee, and a tip. That all seems fair. Until you realize
