Not at all. This is a place I post my honest thoughts on things regardless of the points. Sometimes I'm downvoted, even ridiculed(perhaps fairly), and I take zero offense to any of it. Similarly, I get no 'high' off someth

I feel like Twitter thinks it's way more important than it really is, with respect to elections at least.

My favorite knife is a Kershaw Blur, which uses S30V from Crucible. It is not, however, easy to sharpen. Nowadays at least, most of the easy to sharpen Kershaws are made from cheaper Chinese solutions, which are not as hard but definitely

Mostly plastic and aluminum. You can still find some more niche items in glass, sometimes. But if you're in a convenient store buying a soda, you'll certainly getting plastic, at least since the 90s.

I like glass and far prefer it to plastic in every use case. That said, I don't look forward to a glass future unless it's unbreakable. Trashy people are trashy, and litter whatever they have. I remember vividly as a kid street

Hey it's fine, my wife is mainly similar and I finally "made" her write it down since so many people kept asking for her recipe and her answer was about like yours :). We have a sourdough going so will give it a try, thanks

I don't think it's meant to be xenophobic. I think, in USA at least, a peso is a better comparison because a) it's not worth much, but more importantly, b) you can't use it to buy anything. SkyPennies would be more accu

Revolutionary? It's a hot mess. Some usb will charge my phone very slowly, maybe at 3w. Some will charge what I call 'medium', at around 15w, and some at 30w. And the charger that came with it is its own special usb-c thi

I've noticed almost all typical US breads have way too much sugar. Maybe I'm weird, but I generally hate sweet flavors and sugar, so it's very noticeable to me. Bread making is a hobby of mine (with zero sugar, or very litt

So, I'm not arguing "USA #1". Never would, and to be honest, I haven't been to every country to compare. But their reasoning for ranking it low is 'Trump cracking down' blah blah. Go to CNN's website r

I guess my point was, our devices are simple because making coffee is simple. I mean, technically you can just make cowboy coffee with no tools at all, but our methods get the grinds out. I never understood the need for most people to hav

If you haven't watched it already, you should check out 'Dancing With The Birds' on Netflix. Maybe I'm biased being a huge bird lover, but man that movie left me in awe. This scene in particular... https://y

I hope Amazon has plans for better distribution than their current datacenters. They have absolutely nothing in the US south or mid/mountain west. Maybe they'll run in some edges like Stadia?

Are you being serious? I don't have and can't stand live tv anymore, but as little as 10 years back TV was rife with lying political ads.

Brings back old memories. My first Linux experience was with PhatLinux and WinLinux2000. We only had one family computer and I didn't want to risk nuking the disk, which I now know would have inevitably happened.

I largely agree. My company has dedicated CS, a second tier 'triage', and well...me. I always prefer if customers just email me directly. CS is a frustrating, cost saving measure. And often I'll get tickets, 3 weeks later
