At least for the old TLDs, the ICANN contract specified the max it could be raised each year. I want to say it was 10 or 15 percent anually. Not sure about the new gTLDs but I'd imagine they have similar provisions.

Not to burst your bubble, but assuming you mean USA, it's not over yet. There's still a sizeable portion of people who honestly believe Trump won. I don't look forward to the next few weeks.

Why not have both? That is, plan to provide a real bonus and amount, even if it's just 100 bucks. Beforehand, send out said phishing email, and collect data. Provide the bonus to everyone. Once the holiday is over, notify employees

Same. But even more curious is that it's not as if they die of old age or anything typically...the parents both seem to commit suicide of sorts after having offspring. So that leaves the bigger question of why? Does reproduction doo

Miami metro is already a bit of a tech hub. It's not as prominent as say, the valley, but it exists. Lots of startups, localized tech, more than a few big names have offices there. It's not heavily advertised as such, but if yo

Air Fryer. I was always the pessimist...it's just a convection oven afterall, right. Finally bought one and am a convert. We use that thing almost daily.

It's hilarious to me, since those same users blamed Stadia for the late release. Oops.

And don't forget the then obligatory GoodNameAbstractionFactoryFactory. How else could you get the factory, after all. I'll go cry in the corner now.

Not a bad rule, but from what I've seen mainly in corporate Java, you can give everything and anything a name.

I never had an ARM one, but imagine they would be a bit slow. However, they are still a fairly wide use case on a laptop, so to speak. And that gets blurred further by tablets I guess. The M1 is a nice product. But let's not pretend

That's a good point as API doc is often very, very wrong. Still, this could just as easily be added as some semi standardized REST extension/spec. Granted, it wouldn't have the traction up front GQL gives you.

Same. But I'm also getting old and cranky. Every advantage typically pointed out over REST could easily be solved in REST. You can do joins in REST people, don't be afraid! I often would add query params for such common things

Firstly, as others have pointed out, these companies collect information on people who have never opted in. Secondly, they purposely set up a walled garden such that you can't see some things unless you make an account. Like say, the
