This is a terrible situation. I think leadership bit off more than they could chew. Releasing a polished game on PC, consoles and Stadia simultaneously is nigh on impossible for a large, open world game. I bet Google offered them a bunch of

You're missing the point. The point is that it isn't apple to apples. If you are honest with a dashboard, and the competitor isn't (or doesn't have one), it's not fair to compare.

no serious company wants to be 'the biggest client' of a company. You'll find all the scaling issues.

I remember there was a bug on the App Store that cause some issue on certain games. I posted on the thread "Why not buy this game on Steam instead. It costs the same, doesn't have this issue, and you benefit from the game working

Not sure about reproducibility. If the HD fails, sure, restore from backup. But what if the motherboard fails, and you buy/build a completely new machine. Does a backup work then, even if all the hardware is different? That's wher

But the existing HP or sell server has huge power draw, so why try to save a few watts on a low power GPU.

of course not. You can't threaten to cancel if there's no alternative.

This only makes sense if it's the only form of security, which would be stupid. I had my personal server on p22, and got thousands of attempted attacks a day. I don't allow password authentication, only a key. I moved the default

It's unfortunate that the Xbox Series X and PS5 are so, so, so similar. It seems stupid to have to purchase 2 nearly identical boxes. It's not just the console. You then need multiple controllers for each, and possibly other acces

I've used hover.com for probably 10 years. Pretty great. Simple UI, no upselling/spam and they have customer support. I've never called, but it's nice knowing it's there. I then use CloudFlare for DNS

I'm mixed on these Mac only apps. While they do look/feel better than cross platform apps, I really, really love being able to use SublimeText on my work laptop (Mac), and my personal desktop (Linux).

That was a really sad time honestly. QCOMM went from leading the pack to basically using reference designs (which they still arrogantly brand as Kryo despite essentially being a tweak of a reference design. It all happened because Apple cam

didn't Redhat remove MySql from RHEL7 and replace with MariaDB, only to add it back (in addition to Maria) in RHEL8? Any ideas why?

Agreed. Mark Cerny has said that some features in RDNA2 are a direct result of collaboration between Sony/AMD. Intel is vulnerable. Now is the time for AMD to strike!

I agree. 4 years is nothing to brag about. Not for the sorts of devices that people keep for longer. I've had my Asus router for 5 years, and I'm still getting updates. The hardware is still good, so the support should keep up.

This is why I dislike grub. It's really, really bloated. A bootloader just needs to pick the partition to boot, and little else. I switched to gummiboot ages ago, and it's so simple. There's far less to go wrong (gummiboot go
