This isn't really news. Reddit does do 'shadow-bans' in the case of egregious spammers. Moderators are soon going to be able to do temporary, sub-reddit specific shadowbans as well. Looking at his account ( http://www.reddit.com/user/MarkDe

My 9 year old brother picked up Python, no problem, from scratch. Kids are learning Javascript in 7th grade Web classes in my hometown's school district. I think they'll be okay!

Amazon has shown that they're open to pivots and trying new things before. I wouldn't be surprised if they made two different lines of Kindles, with different OS's. They are trying to achieve market dominance with the Amazon App Store—with

As someone who's lived on both coasts, I think that the major difference between NY and SF 'distractions' is that the West Coast distractions are generally more 'related' to tech. When I go out to any random bar in SOMA, I'm likely to meet

My main issue with adopting Gowalla was that they never let me actually use it. Their Facebook Connect was broken for months—it'd bring you to a text error page; their app crashed repeatedly (and apparently is still doing so on the 3GS with
