Cool! Always felt like sharing public files via Dropbox wasn't quite as quick as it should be. Seems similar to CloudApp's menu bar app: http://getcloudapp.com/

Just signed up for Algorithms, Part I. I probably won't be able to take that at my college for several more semesters, and this is information I'd actually like to know, but something that I've struggled to learn in isolation. Very exciting

It's interesting that they're getting a redesign - I've always thought Python.org was one of the nicest, cleanest sites for an open source project. Here's their reasoning for a redesign: http://pythonorg-redesign.readthedocs.org/en/latest/

Not to pick on you in particular, but I think it's a bit disingenuous to try to say "something is priced to be worth about X amount of time" - it entirely depends on the person and their financial situation. I've used Sublime Text 2 for a y

Git isn't "pre-installed" on OSX; it comes with XCode. You can be a developer on OSX and not use XCode. It's not common, but it doesn't hurt to offer a download. And, of course, it's not like XCode gets updated every time Git does.

If anyone here has been to a past Finish Weekend, or a similar event, I'd love to hear your thoughts on it. I'm thinking about going, and would like to know what other peoples' experiences were like.

The sad part of this is that it's so easy to make your Bootstrap site look a little different, even for non-designers. I'm sure the idea here is "oh, I'm just making a quick MVP, or even a pre-MVP, or a weekend project, and Bootstrap makes
