I also have the giant-thighs-and-butt-from-heavy-squats-and-deadlifts situation. The "Athletic taper" pants from Jcrew and also the similarly named ones from Banana Republic and the Gap are great. Sometimes you can buy one size up

Great clear-eyed and cynical take here, I like the spirit of this comment if not all the details/conclusions, but can you provide a link/source for "You can look at historical graphs of fed rate vs unemployment to verify"

I second the Omega 3's, in the form of cod liver oil. Also a refrigerated probiotic occasionally and zinc every day (Zinc is super great for general physical strength and vitality for me, very underrated, strong recommend).

Do you rate SBF as a source more or less credible than Shkreli?

Not to devil's advocate, but this sounds like an argument which might apply at least as well to the USA as it does to Russia.

I'm not the GP and don't have a horse in this race, but is English Wikipedia widely considered "Kremlin biased?" That seems far fetched.

"Scott free" is maybe a bit strong, but it's totally plausible that he'll walk away with a slap on the wrist. White collar crime is famous for leading to leniency.

The theoretical travel time might be an hour, but we can't realistically compare the travel time variances between MetroNorth and Japanese trains. Going to Stamford is maybe like 1 hour, with frequent catastrophic delays and problems,

The killer app for VR is unfortunately going to be porn, although it seems many stakeholders are unaware of that. E.g. Neither Zuck nor John Carmack seem to have realized this yet. But it makes sense when you realize that VR is inherently i

OK but then how do we know how far the sun is from the earth? Is it like "bounce a signal off it and count time of flight?" (Another serious question.)

All of this is true. Yet many firearms enthusiasts are still disgruntled by the current situation because they interpret the intent of the 2nd Amendment as arming the people at or near parity with the government, as a bulwark against tyrann
