Agreed. I thought the article was really interesting. I don’t know much about how the author got their data, it seems like it’s a Kaggle dataset and I’m not familiar with how that was procured, but the analysis was really fascinating to me.

What is format and time shifting? I am wondering if you mean like code formatting and reordering history, but I’m not really sure. Thanks.

That’s a cool idea. I don’t know much about ASTs or anything but I know you are right about LSP being able to find most everything I am searching for in the mostly statically typed languages I’ve worked with. Would be fun to try that out ov

Daniel Stenberg, the lead maintainer of cURL, has some interesting tweets about this topic. In fact several of the toxic comments he posts are from people who seem to lack a basic understanding of what the project even provides. https:

I agree pretty strongly with the premise of this article. Unexpected or unnoticed bottlenecks and localized issues can lead to cascading failures. A book I read more than a decade ago helped me learn about this stuff: Release It! by Michael

Thanks for the recommendation. It is nice to see. I have read both of the novels myself, as well as at least one of the Penumbra novellas (it's been a while). I really enjoyed the Penumbra stuff; I have to admit I remember feeling slig

The ones linked in these comments are hilarious. Sadly it is not working for me right now, probably exceeded some kind of quota. EDIT: I did some testing; it seems to work fine for me on desktop Firefox, but not on my iPhone.
